Generating Random Color Palettes for UI Projects
1. Why Random Palettes Work
Random color generation breaks you out of your comfort zone and introduces unexpected but harmonious combinations. The tool uses controlled saturation and brightness to keep palettes balanced.
2. Using the Lock Function
If you find a color you love, click the lock icon on that swatch. When you generate a new palette, that color stays exactly the same while the others change.
Workflow Tip: Lock your brand's primary color, then generate random accent colors to find the perfect secondary palette.
3. Exporting Your Palette
Copy the HEX list or SCSS variables directly. The tool even formats variables like $color-1 to $color-5 for quick integration.
